ICE London 2006 – January 21st, 2006

The 24th – 26th January is when the Casino Industry converges on London in the form of the International Casino Exhibition ( ICE ). The International Casino Exhibition ( ICE ) is the largest gambling industry event in the world and this year promises to be the best so far.

Due to the rise in popularity of Online Gambling over the last few years, ICE 2006 is set to be the most spectacular yet, with the largest representation of online casino figureheads attending.  OCR will be sending EasyPlay.Vegas Webmaster and  former Ladbrokes International IT Manager, Dave Sawyer, to find out why ICE is such an important event in the gambling industry’s calendar.  As well as finding out the future developments the likes of software companies Microgaming, Boss Media and Cryptologic have in store for players.

Dave will also be attending meetings with some of the leading figures in the industry, such as Andrew Beveridge CEO of eCOGRA, Ed Ware CEO of 32Red, Bryan Bailey of CasinoMeister and Tony Ure, Head of Poker for the fast growing International Poker Network.

ICE 2006 will also enable EasyPlay.Vegas to put face to face some of the concerns we and our visitors have regarding the online gambling industry. Indeed for example at this moment in time, it is our policy not to promote any RTG Casinos based on the poor customer service track record many of their casinos unfortunately hold.

If the industry is to move forward the onus is on the likes of RTG to get the houses of their software licensees in order. Therefore players will have the assurance that when they play at any RTG Casino Licensee they have proper recourse should any dispute with the particular casino concerned occur.
