More Online Poker Consolidation – November 19th, 2009
The consolidation trend in online poker continued this week with the announcement that two poker rooms on Playtech’s iPoker network have merged.
Playtech’s Gibraltar licensed Noble Poker and Fair Poker players have been informed of the merge, in which Fair Poker player accounts and loyalty points have been transferred to Noble with a bonus offer as an incentive to stay with the action, using the same log in and passwords as in the past.
The Fair Poker website has reportedly been rebranded to reflect the Noble identity. No reasons were given for the merger with Noble, which – like Fair Poker – has been around since 2004.
Fair Poker was formerly an Antiguan licensed property of the Intercontinental Online Gaming Group.
