Avalon II The Quest For The Grail

Avalon II The Quest For The Grail is hotly anticipate sequel to the Avalon Slot Machine, which to this day is still one of the most enduring and popular slots developed by Microgaming.  With a medieval theme, Avalon II utilises Microgaming’s 243 payline engine, which incorporates multiple features and a random bonus round.

The slot machine in total features 8 bonus rounds which fit in with the theme of the slot. These are unlocked as you continue to play the slot and include bonus rounds such as Morgan’s Keep. With Morgan’s Keep awarding you 20 free spins, with rolling reels employed. Other bonus rounds provide extra wild symbols, or a simple pick and choose feature called ‘Isle of Avalon’.

With the number of bonus rounds on offer, this does keep your interest in Avalon 2 peaked. Also the potential of hitting substantial wins are available, with Avalon II being regarded as a ‘Medium Variance’ slot.

The symbols to look out for in particular are the Merlin symbol which can appear randomly at any point of playing the slot, with Merlin awarding either a cash prize or bonus multiplier. The other symbol of note is the Lady of the Lake Symbol. The Lady of the Lake symbol hit on the third reel can then expand and subsequently award additional wins.

When playing the slot if you are betting at the highest bet amount, a total of $120,000 can be won. Which is a pretty sizable win to be attained from a slot machine that is not classed as a ‘progessive’.

While 243 payline slots from Microgaming seem to be the standard fare of late, I was pleasantly surprised with the standard of gameplay available in Avalon II and it is certainly in my view anyhow, one of the better ones. A decent sequel and I hope you enjoy trying it out for free above.
