Casumo Casino Review

Established in 2012, Casumo Casino is a new addition to the online casino reviews here on EasyPlay.Vegas for 2017. Indeed at the date of this review ( Feb 23rd 2017 ), Casumo becomes the 30th casino to be reviewed and recommended on OCR and for very good reasons too.

Indeed, Casumo Casino’s progress has been such that it has been the recipient of a number of Industry recognised awards.

Ok so lets do this review a bit differently and start off with the cons or the negatives. Well there aren’t any, seriously. This Malta licensed online casino is a leader in their field and is very very player friendly. I spent a good couple of days testing out the casino, from opening an account, playing their games, withdrawing funds to talking to their live chat operators. I have to say, my whole entire experience at Casumo has been first class.

Casumo Casino – The Positives

So to the positives of which there are many.  Starting off, opening an account at the casino is a breeze. With no need to download a casino client to install, you are required to just enter your personal details, including  physical address, date of birth, email address and your preferred payment method. Once you have done this, it is a straightforward procedure to fund your player account of which you are also given the option to claim the bonus on offer for new players. Withdrawal Process

On to the very important procedure of withdrawing from Casumo. I made my withdrawal which thankfully gets flushed in quick fashion and within a couple of hours I received an email from the security department, requesting my docs. This is a standard procedure for all online casinos and forms part of the ‘Know Your Customer‘ process. Note: Provision of documents to ascertain your identity is only requested the once. On subsequent withdrawals you will not be required to provide docs.

The only downside and I suppose actually this is indeed a ‘small’ negative, is that your withdrawal is reversed until such time that your docs have been approved. Unlike many other online casinos though, Casumo do verify and approve your docs once sent in, in double quick fashion. Other casinos take note!

Once my documents were approved, the finance department of Casumo approved my withdrawal within a couple of hours. Now I had deposited via my Visa Debit bank card and within 24 hours my withdrawal hit my bank account. This is top service and again other online casinos take note. Supporter of Responsible Gambling

Finally and I feel this is probably one of the most important aspects of Casumo, is the fact that they are proactive in supporting Responsible Gambling. Why do I say this and how do I know? Well I myself experienced this first hand.

Upon making my withdrawal again once my docs had been approved by the security team, I decided to take advantage of the TAB ( Take A Break ) Facility, thus to ensure I didn’t waver and make additional deposits whilst my withdrawal was being processed. In doing so I had to provide the casino with a reason as well as the time scale I wanted to Take  A Break for.

The reason I gave was the fact I had found myself spending far too long playing at the casino. As a result I received an email from Casumo Customer Support within a couple of hours which stated: ” You recently closed your account with us for the reason of ‘spending too much time on the casino’ – this is actually a Play OK reason, and I have closed your account for the minimum amount of time in this situation which is 6 months (though this time can be extended for as long as you feel appropriate). “

I of course queried this with Live Chat, the operator of which was very professional and courteous. Apparently this is part of Casumo’s policy to support Responsible Gaming. Due to the fact I stated that I had been playing too long, this triggered their ‘Play OK’ reason.

Since it’s launch in 2012, Casumo has been shortlisted for various iGaming Industry recognised awards, based on the feedback from the players at the casino. Indeed in 2013, Casumo was the recipient of the EGaming Review Rising Star Award.

In addition to winning this coveted award from EGR in it’s first year of operation, Casumo has subsequently picked up further awards from EGR. A testament to their popularity with the player community.

YouTube Review

On the YouTube Review of Casumo Casino which you are able to view at your leisure at the top of the page, I came in for criticism for stating that Casumo does not operate a reverse withdrawal facility ( policy ). This was a genuine oversight on my part, having not checked banking straight after actioning my withdrawal. Having done so, some couple of hours later, after said withdrawal was flushed.

However, you will find that I do literally wax lyrical about casino in our video review and for good reason too. Although at the time of updating this review page back in May 2017 ( This review has since been updated in May 2024 ), they have come in for some flack from the player community. As a result of some of their casino affiliates, partaking in dubious spam campaigns.

I am pleased to report though that it appears that casino management at Casumo have taken the necessary action required to stamp this activity out. Including in some cases the withholding of affiliate payments from several of the affiliates involved.
