Now well over ten years old, Thunderstruck still proves to be extremely popular with online slot players.
21+ No operator we name holds a licence from a state regulator, and what you are allowed to play is settled by the state you sit in, not by us. Thunderstruck Slot Review
ThunderStruck is a 5 reel 9 pay line slot available to play at all online casinos which operate on Microgaming Casino Software. Since the ThunderStruck Online Slot was introduced in 2004, it has proven to be one of the most popular online slots available to play from the comfort of your home.
Alongside the first TombRaider Slot which was released in the same year as Thunderstruck, both slots remain very popular with players.
ThunderStruck has long lasting appeal among slot enthusiasts and this is in part due to the features it has available to the player.
One of these being the Thor symbol which acts as ThunderStuck’s wild card symbol. In addition there is the Ram symbol which triggers free spins if you manage to hit three or more rams in a single spin.
The Free spins feature of ThunderStruck also has another twist. As well as tripling the value of each win hit when playing through the free spins. Once they are complete you are then given the option to gamble your winnings accrued during the free spins. This is done by either choosing red or black from a pack of cards – thus doubling your win if you guess and choose correctly the color to be drawn.
However you can also take a bigger risk, but with it comes a much higher reward by choosing what suit from a pack of cards will be drawn. This reduces your chances of being successful down to one in four. But likewise if you choose correctly, your win will quadruple in value.
This added twist to the free spins feature has given ThunderStruck a new dimension compared to other 5 reel online slots currently available. In addition the graphics and musical effects are outstanding and this is proven by the longevity and playability of ThunderStruck. Put simply, if you are a fan of online slots, then you have to try your hand at ThunderStruck.
In 2010 Microgaming finally brought out the much anticipated ThunderStruck 2 Slot, which brings the series to a completely different level in my considered opinion. Both are completely different games in their own right, and both combine to make the ThunderStruck slot series one of the best in online gaming.
