EGR Power Affiliates Summit
The EGR Power Affiliates Summit is an invite only one day event for the top affiliates in the iGaming Space.
EasyPlay.Vegas has been fortunate to have been invited several times and the video on the left is an overview of the 2017 Power Affiliates Summit.
Each year EGR choose a different location for the event to be held at, with the 2017 event being held at Goodwood, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed on the 30th June 2017. The car theme seems to be a thing with EGR as the 2016 event was held during the British Grand Prix Qualifying at Silverstone. Complain? No chance, we love cars and enjoyed both events thoroughly!
Network with the Main Movers and Shakers in iGaming
I’ve been fortunate enough to have been invited to several EGR Power Affiliate Summits ( Previously known as Power 50 ), but have only been able to attend the ones held in 2016 and 2017. With the 2016 event being held on the Saturday during Qualifying at the British Grand Prix held at Silverstone.
Being a much smaller event, you get to mingle and speak with pretty much everyone in attendance. Not only does this give you a great chance to catch up with old friends and peers, but also allows you to make new contacts within the iGaming Affiliate space. Which as you must know by now, networking is so key to making a success as an affiliate.
As such I put the EGR Power Affiliate Summit on the same level as AffiliateFest when it comes to ‘must attend’ events.
This is by no means knocking the larger shows, events and conferences held over multiple days, but just based on my own reflection and return I and EasyPlay.Vegas get from attending these smaller events.
Unfortunately though, the EGR Power Affiliate Summit is an invite only event. By all means you can register your interest in attending, but you really do need to get your site or network of sites ‘out there’ so your peers and the guys and gals at EGR take notice of the work you are doing.
To give you an example how my attendance at the 2017 EGR Power Affiliates Summit helped me and in turn OCR I will explain. I was introduced to Andy Edwards from Mad About Media who operates several casino affiliate sites and also runs a couple of white label casinos, including Mad About Slots which we have reviewed here on OCR.
Subsequently we have kept in touch and Andy personally spent several weeks afterwards helping me reverse the effects of the massive Negative Seo attack that OCR was subjected to early in 2017. For that assistance I cannot thank Andy enough. In turn, my attendance at the EGR Power Affiliates Summit made that possible.
