Casino Tropez – Rogue and Blacklisted Casino

Casino Tropez has landed itself on the rogue section of OCR thanks largely to their affiliate program Europartners, who know no boundaries when it comes to spam.

But before I detail exactly what has happened to cause Casino Tropez to feature in the rogue pit, I also need to point out that spam issues aside, Casino Tropez is a casino I would not recommend.

Established in 2001, Casino Tropez is one of the oldest Playtech casinos currently in operation and during this time has come under fire from players, with quite a few complaints having been raised.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love the games developed by Playtech, some of my favourites slots have been produced by Playtech. Thankfully however, I recommend several decent Playtech operators on the casino reviews pages of OCR.

However I digress, as the main reason Casino Tropez is blacklisted is due to business practices of their marketing affiliate business which is run by Europartners.

Continual Spam and Aggressive Marketing

The tactics employed by Europartners to try and get webmasters of casino portals like myself to push their casino properties on our visitors is in my view the worst I have encountered. They quite simply do not take no for an answer, that is if you reply. Which I urge no one to do.

As when I politely declined I was subjected to strong arm tactics and when that didn’t work, one affiliate manager even signed up to our now closed casino forum and ‘mouthed’ off against not just me, but the forum members.

I have been subjected to endless emails, cold call telephone calls and most recently a message via OCR’s own Facebook page ( May 2013 ).

Seriously, if a casino needs to use these methods to gain promotion, god only knows what an unsuspecting player will be on the receiving end of, if they decide to sign up to a casino like Casino Tropez.

Therefore Casino Tropez is regarded as a rogue and blacklisted casino and players are advised to avoid at all costs.
